Get Up Entertainment specialise in sourcing exceptional DJs, bands, and musicians for events, weddings, private parties & brand activations in London and the South of England. We work closely with our clients to match them with the perfect act for their occasion.
Unlike many entertainment agencies in the UK, we don’t believe in overwhelming you with hundreds of artists that have very similar repertoires on our website. Instead, we work with a select group of DJs, bands, and musicians we’re truly passionate about. Once we receive your enquiry, we will send you a bespoke selection of artists that we believe you'll love.
Get Up offer everything from DJs, party bands, and string quartets to soul singers, brass bands, and even a gospel choir on our roster.

ABOUT
Get Up Entertainment was founded by Max Brewer, a music event consultant, programmer, and DJ with a deep appreciation for both classic and contemporary musical genres.
Max has programmed, conceptualised, and performed at events ranging from brand activations and black-tie galas to weddings, club nights, festivals, and book launches. Highlights include Red Bull Culture Clash at Earls Court Arena, Mazda launch events at Goodwood Festival of Speed, Virgin Media’s stage at V Festival featuring DJ performances from Mark Ronson and A-Trak, John Lewis’s rooftop garden at their flagship store on Oxford Street, and Mixmag’s Alter Ego events at the ArcelorMittal Orbit.
Max has DJed and booked entertainment for clients at venues including The Guildhall, One Mayfair, Shoreditch House, The V&A, Notting Hill Arts Club, Cannon Bridge Roof Garden, The House of St Barnabas, The Stone Barn (Cheltenham), Cafe Royal, York Hall and more for clients including Virgin Atlantic, Warner Music, Jack Wills, the BBC and Naim Audio as well as countless private parties, weddings, and club events.

In addition to DJs and bands, Get Up Entertainment offers a comprehensive range of services designed to complement our core offerings and enhance your guests’ experience. These include sound engineers, speech coordination, music editing services, and background music consultation.
An often overlooked detail at events is the background music during meals, drinks receptions, and other key moments. Whether you're looking for a pianist or string quartet to accompany a drinks reception, an acoustic duo to play you down the aisle, or a curated playlist to set the mood before your party kicks off, getting the music just right can have a significant impact on your event.
For speeches, we recommend hiring a sound engineer to manage sound levels, eliminate feedback, and ensure smooth transitions between background music and speakers, so everything flows seamlessly.
With our music editing service, we can edit first dance songs to shorten them or combine multiple tracks to suit your needs.
Finally, if you’re aiming to make your event truly exceptional, we also offer a specialist artist booking service. Thanks to our extensive industry contacts, we can help you book major label artists, DJs, or even comedians to surprise and entertain your guests. From logistics to contracts and riders, we’ll take care of everything, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience.

From the moment you reach out, our team will handle your enquiry with care. Once you've sent us your details and musical preferences, we'll provide a selection of artists and guide you through the planning process, answering any questions along the way. BOOK THE BAND/DJ
Once you’ve made the decision to book with us, Get Up Entertainment will send over a booking agreement to confirm the details. The contract outlines everything for your event, and once you’ve signed it, the act will do the same and reserve the date in their schedule. To secure your booking, we ask for a deposit, with the remaining balance due via bank transfer 7 days prior to the date of your event.
PLANNING YOUR EVENT
As your event date draws closer, feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss the finer details. Approximately four weeks before your event, the team at Get Up Entertainment will contact you to confirm the final arrangements—any changes to timing, last minute requests for the DJ or band, and payment details. All of this information will be compiled and sent to the band, as well as your event’s point of contact, in a final confirmation. This will include a call sheet, timings, access details, and contact information to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
