Get Up Entertainment specialise in sourcing exceptional DJs, bands, and musicians for events, weddings, private parties, venues, and brand activations. We work closely with our clients to match them with the perfect act for their occasion.

Unlike many other entertainment agencies in the UK, we don’t believe in overwhelming you with hundreds of artists that have very similar repertoires on our website. Instead, we focus on a select group of DJs, bands, and musicians we’re truly passionate about. Once we receive your enquiry, we provide a bespoke selection of artists that we believe you'll love.

Whatever the occasion, we offer a diverse range of entertainment, including DJs, party bands, string quartets, soul singers, brass bands, gospel choirs, orchestras, and more. From classic party hits, pop, funk, soul, and disco to house, UK garage, drum and bass, jungle, indie covers, rock, jazz and classical music, we have all genres covered and can cater to every taste.

Get Up Entertainment was founded by Max Brewer, a DJ, Music Event Programmer, and Consultant with 15 years of experience in the music and events industry. Over the years, Max has had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of venues, brands, and clients, including Red Bull Music Academy, Red Bull Studios, Mixmag, V Festival, NTS Radio, One Mayfair, The Guildhall, The Clapham Grand, Café Royal, Brixton Jamm, Boiler Room, York Hall, Soho House, Earls Court Arena, John Lewis, Virgin Atlantic, Warner Music, Mazda, The House Of St Barnabus and many more. At Get Up Entertainment, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to enhance your event. Our offerings include access to our carefully selected roster of bands and DJs, as well as sound system lighting & hire, speech coordination, and background music consultation. We also provide mixing and editing services tailored to your needs.

A detail often overlooked at weddings and events is the background music during meals, drinks receptions, and other moments. We can curate the perfect atmosphere, from mixing and editing songs for your first dance to creating a custom montage of songs that tells your unique story.

For speeches, we recommend hiring a professional sound engineer to ensure flawless execution. They will manage sound levels, eliminate feedback, and ensure smooth transitions between music and speakers, making sure your event flows seamlessly.

If you're looking to make your event truly exceptional, we also offer specialist artist booking services. Thanks to our extensive industry contacts, we can help you book major label artists, DJs, or comedians to surprise and delight your guests. From logistics to contracts and riders, we’ll handle everything, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience.

HOW WE WORK From the moment you reach out, your enquiry will be handled by our team. Once you have sent an enquiry and event requirements our team will send you a selection of artists and quotes and will guide you through the planning process and address any questions you may have. BOOK THE BAND/DJ
Once you’ve made the decision to book with us, Get Up Entertainment will send over a booking agreement to confirm the details. The contract outlines everything for your event, and once you’ve signed it, the act will do the same and lock the date in their schedule. To secure your booking, we ask for a deposit, with the remaining balance due via bank transfer 7 days prior to the  date of your event.

PLANNING YOUR EVENT
As your event date draws closer, feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss the finer details. Approximately four weeks before your event, the team at Get Up Entertainment will contact you to confirm the final arrangements—any changes to timing, last minute requests for the DJ or disco, and payment details. All of this information will be compiled and sent to the band and your events point of contact in a final confirmation, with a call sheet, timings and access and point of contact details ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day.
